Vehicle, in particular, vehicle with hybrid drive or electric vehicle comprises storage battery, located between left and right wheel arches. Protective element made in form of homogeneous profile and having high resistance to lateral bending, is located above battery. Protective element passes across to vehicle longitudinal axis from left to right wheel arch and attached to wheel arches by means of holders.
EFFECT: protection during side impact is increasing.
