FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices and tools for extravehicular activity. Proposed active fixation device uses a manipulator tool drive. On the front face of the device body there are made profiled guiding projections. Retractable rod is made in the form of a head and self-a braking pair interacting with the said tool. Controlled head latches are equipped with fixing elements. In kinematic chain of the drive there is installed a brake coupling for fixation of the payload. On the rear end of the body there is installed a rigging element with shaped protrusions and a target for guidance of the manipulator.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is creation of a mechanism for multiple docking controlled with the help of one manipulator drive.
