FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, particularly, to docking devices of spacecrafts. Jointing mechanism of spacecraft comprises movable housing connected to base of docking mechanism by two-stage rotary hinge and lateral damper with progressive spring mechanisms, rods and electromagnetic brakes and rod with head, having latch. There are ball screw-type converter and associated with it axial damper with the first friction brake, electric drive, overlapping limbs of docking mechanism movement. Pads are arranged uniformly with identical angular pitch on outer side surface of movable housing and form truncated cone. Into the axial shock absorber the second friction brake is introduced, coaxial to the first friction brake, associated with it and with the ball screw converter. Double-stage rotary hinge is installed in movable housing base, and axes of progressive spring mechanisms and tie-rods of electromagnetic brakes of side damper are directed from base of docking mechanism inside truncated cone formed by straps limiting angular movements of spacecrafts.
EFFECT: reduced dynamic loads.
