SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. Said technical result is achieved by fact that in method of discharge power supply of ozone generator, an anode which is electrode coated with dielectric layer, and cathode is metal electrode, first and second levels of current and voltage level, periodically passed through one or more ozone generator of pulses of direct current from anode to cathode with amplitude of instantaneous value, not exceeding specified first level of current passing direct current pulse is monitored instantaneous voltage at ozone generator and at equality of instantaneous voltage at ozone generator preset level direct current voltage is stopped and, further, once or repeatedly shorted ozone generator, at each shorting controlled instantaneous return current through ozone generator so that it does not exceeds given second level of current. That is, at equality of instantaneous reverse current through ozone generator specified second level of short-circuiting current is removed, and then restored again. Decrease of instantaneous voltage at ozone generator to zero reverse current is stopped.
EFFECT: expanded scope of application of discharge asymmetrical ozone generator.
