FIELD: electrics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to electrotechnics and can be used in design of high-efficient ozone plants. Ozone generator contains electrode system of two electrodes 1, 2 performed in the form of grid made of electric current conducting material and separated in space by dielectric layer 3 which is a spacer between electrodes. Additional dielectric layers 4, 5 are located on opposite sides of electrodes. Electrodes are made of material that is resistant to action of electric discharge and chemically active substances and residuals originating during electrical discharge in oxygen-containing gas. Electrode system is folded into roll and spatially oriented by its axis in direction of oxygen-containing gas flow.
EFFECT: lowering energy consumption for ozone electrosynthesis.
