FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method of ozone synthesis includes the preparation, the cooling of oxygen-containing gas to be subjected to an electric barrier discharge. Simultaneously with the effect of the electric barrier discharge on the oxygen-containing, the latter is, further on, subjected to a flow of electrons and ultra-violet radiation with the λ wave length in a range of λ=120÷180 nanometers from a source of the optical radiation excited by the electric barrier discharge in excimer or exciplex gas with parameters E/p in the range of E/p=0,01÷0,17 V / (Pa-mm), where E is the intensity of electric field in the discharge, p is pressure of the excimer or exciplex gas.
EFFECT: power savings in synthesis of ozone.
