In the regeneration method, the regeneration process includes the nickel-hydrogen battery charging by the pulsed current application in the form of rectangular pulses with established repetition rate ranging from 5 kHz to 10 kHz and with established current average value IAVE in the range from 1 A to 10 A.

EFFECT: invention allows to restore the battery characteristics, which degraded due to the repeated charging and discharging repetition and long-term interruption in use.
