FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to a battery cell containing an electrolyte based on SO2. An increase in the energy density of the battery while maintaining the stability of the electrolyte is a technical result of the invention, which is achieved due to the fact that the element (2, 20, 40) of the battery containing the active metal, at least one positive electrode (4, 23, 44) with a discharge element (26), at least one a negative electrode (5, 22, 45) with a discharge element (27) containing lithium metal, the housing (1, 28) contains an electrolyte based on SO2 and at least one first conductive salt of formula (1)
where M is a metal selected from a group consisting of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, zinc and aluminum, where x is an integer from 1 to 3, the substituents R 1, R 2, R 3, R 4 are selected independently from each other from a group consisting of C1- C10 alkyl, C2-C10 alkenyl, C 2-C10 alkynyl, C3-C10 cycloalkyl, C6-C14 aryl and C5-C14 heteroaryl; Z means aluminum or boron.
EFFECT: present invention enables to increase the energy density of a battery cell while maintaining the stability of the electrolyte.
