FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials from silicate melts. Briquetted mixture for making mineral fibre contains fine wastes from processing granite fraction less than 0.16 mm with silicon oxide content of less than 60 %, fine wastes from processing dolomite and cement at following ratio of components, wt%: wastes from processing of granite 70-75, wastes from processing of dolomite 20-25, cement 5-6.
EFFECT: technical result is increased heat resistance and low pH (water resistance).
