FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for production of cylindrical workpieces with conical part, including thin-walled ones. One performs production of cylindrical billet with bottom, its installation in matrix with conical cavity and forming in one pass in two stages. First stage involves pressing billet by puncheon with conical part on blank inner surface to contact tops of its conical part of bottom part, and at second stage simultaneously with squeezing of billet bottom part is drawn. At that, male die is used, diameter of which exceeds internal diameter of workpiece, and height of conical part is less than height of workpiece.

EFFECT: higher quality of manufactured parts.
