FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: laser with optical-mechanical q-factor modulation comprises housing, active element and resonator consisting of two mirrors, one of which is rigidly fixed relative to housing, and second one has possibility of rotation. In laser there is pusher, base mounted on housing, and by top connected to second mirror, eccentrically to its rotational axis. Pusher is made in form of arch from current-conducting threads. Switch and power supply are connected to ends of current-conducting threads. Second mirror is placed in initial position at angle of φ to working position, in which mirrors are parallel, and angle of , where W0 is given angular velocity of second mirror in its working position, J is inertia moment of second mirror rotation, M is torque, created on second mirror axis of rotation by pusher with thermal expansion of current-conducting threads under influence of current flowing from electric power source.
EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency, as well as reduction of electric and magnetic interferences and noise at minimum laser dimensions.
