FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: pulsed laser with optical-mechanical gate includes housing, active element and resonator consisting of two mirrors. One of mirrors is rigidly fixed relative to housing, second is equipped with drive and has possibility of rotation so that in working position mirrors are parallel. Rotary mirror is developed in initial position relative to working position at angle φ, drive represents flexible rod with electric-dependant curvature, one end of which is fixed on housing, and second is movable. Flexible rod surface is connected with rotary mirror so that transverse deformation of rod mirror can rotate, moving to working position. Rod is connected with its electric contacts through key to power supply, and angle , where W0 is given angular velocity of rotating mirrors at moment of highest q-factor of resonator, J is inertia moment of rotation of mirror, M is torque developed by flexible rod on rotating mirror with closed key.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability and efficiency of laser.
