FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: source information on values of distances from enclosures up to live parts is controlled by employees. Information on the values of distances from the enclosures up to the live parts received via distance-measuring devices such as distance meters supplied by the electric grid, is delivered to the processor, whereat the actual measured values of distances from the enclosures up to the live parts are compared with permitted values of distances from the enclosures up to the live parts. Thereupon as a result of the above comparison of the actual and permitted values control signals are generated for signalling devices mounted at the enclosures and at the dispatcher's console. Lamps, buzzers and rings are used as visual and audio signal devices. Encroachment of the permitted distance is evaluated, and then recorded, and the employees are notified by means of the visual and audio signal devices. Encroachment is also recorded at the console of the dispatcher who is an employee of the supervisory group.
EFFECT: increased safety of operations performed by repair personnel and permanent monitoring of distances between the enclosures and the live parts.
