FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed strain Lactobacillus plantarum CECT 7481 and Lactobacillus brevis strain CECT 7480. These strains have ability to survive stress conditions in oral cavity, ability to adhere to oral tissues, ability to form aggregates and ability to inhibit pathogens in mouth. Strains used for prevention or treatment of oral disorders in a composition or a pharmaceutical composition in an effective amount. Also provided is a probiotic product containing above composition and an acceptable ingredient. Strains were also used in food product together with at least one food ingredient to improve oral health, as well as at least one cosmetically acceptable vehicle consisting of a cosmetic composition for alleviation or prevention of symptoms caused by disorder in oral cavity. Effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition or a food product or cosmetic composition is used in a product for oral care.
EFFECT: prevention or treatment of oral disorders.
