FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal working, tool manufacture, and machine building. Device for processing comprises tight cylindrical chamber with lifting cover, rotary air blower with motor arranged at centre of chamber, axial resonator chambers with slot nozzles arranged inside chamber, each being provided with electric heater, gate of slotted nozzle with turning drive for width adjustment of holes for air flow from heater, sensors of acoustic vibration, temperature control unit with timer, on input whereto signals arrive from said sensors of each camera, while its outputs are connected to engine air blower, drive valves, air ducts for circulation of air flow from resonance chambers to blower, pressure sensor, electric valves for feeding and dropping pressure in cylindrical chamber, and lifting-turning device for lifting cover.

EFFECT: to improve operational properties of cutting tools and parts due to higher hardness, strength, wear resistance, and impact strength, parts are processed in conditions of acoustic impact, including heating and cooling of parts in resonator chamber at pressure of 1 5/10 to 4 5/10 atm, at that heating is carried out in of temperature range from 150 to 450 °C, and cooling is performed under action of circulating flow of compressed air upon parts at resonant frequency in range of 500 to 5,000 Hz.
