DEVICE FOR DEFINING A CUTTING PLANE FOR BONE RESECTION Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B17/15

Abstract RU 2584647 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical engineering and is intended for mounting a cutting plane for resection of bone in orthopedic surgery. Device for defining a cutting plane for bone resection, comprising a base that can be positioned on the bone and a cut guiding element which is placed on the base so that its position can be changed and which comprises a cut guiding structure for guiding a cutting tool in the cutting plane. Cut guiding base is tiltable relative to the base about at least one first axis by means of a first adjustable tilt mechanism to adjust the angle of the cutting plane. First tilt mechanism comprises a rectilinear guide that is arranged on a first element of the device and a slide that can be linearly displaced along the guide in the longitudinal direction thereof. First tilt mechanism, on a second element of the device, which can be tilted about the first axis relative to the first element, comprises a guide portion relative to which the an effective portion of the slide is displaced when the slide is displaced. First guide portion and the effective portion have interacting structures that form a sliding guide effective at a right angle to the longitudinal direction. Device has a first guide portion bent relative to the longitudinal direction of the first guide groove or first guide slot, and the working portion of the first crosshead guide pin or guide pin which engages with the first guide groove or first guide slot, and inserted therein.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the device due to ease of maintenance and precision tilt adjustment mechanism in the position of the cutting plane of the cut.
