FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering, particularly, to electrolysis of water, and provides a method of producing gas flow by air flow on ionic surface, which is used in production of electric power. Method of producing gas flow containing ammonia, hydrogen and hydrocarbon, where humid air flow is brought into contact with surface layer of a solid catalyst and ion water surface formed under effect of metal electrodes, activated by electric current; after passing through semipermeable barrier, where said flow interacts with ilmenite contained on surface of barrier, at temperature in range from 12 to 80 °C and ambient pressure or in vacuum to obtain gas flow. Device for producing gas flow comprises cylindrical tube (1), horizontally located, with two opposite holes (2) and (3) of smaller diameter; anode of wire (4) connected to positive pole of power supply source by means of connecting wires; cathode (5) consisting of winding around anode connected to negative pole of power supply, anode and cathode are submerged into electrolyte, located in lower part of tube and covering electrodes; and porous ceramic barrier (6) near hole (2).
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain hydrogen gas directly on site, and improves technology and reduces harmful effects on environment.
