FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for processing of exhaust gases. Essence of invention: method and device for production of ammonia, suitable for application as reducing agent in systems of selective catalytic reduction (scr), selective non-catalytic reduction (sncr) or processing of flue gases. Method of processing exhaust gases after combustion, which includes electrolytic hydrolysis of urea in mild conditions. Electrolytic device, which includes electrolytic cell 1, including anode 3, cathode 4 and urea-containing alkaline electrolytic composition 6, can be technologically connected to system for purification of exhaust gases to manufacture device, reducing content of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and/or solid particles in exhaust gases.
EFFECT: providing efficient method of obtaining ammonia for application in system for purification of exhaust gases.
