FIELD: ceramic industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to transparent glass ceramic with low thermal expansion. Transparent glass ceramics contains following, wt%: SiO2 35-70; Al2O3 17-35; Li2O 2-6; TiO2 0-6; ZrO2 0-6; TiO2+ ZrO2 0.5-9; ZnO 0.5-5. Glass ceramics produced by clarification using SnO2 and at least one additional clarifier, wherein additional clarifier is selected from Sb2O3, SO4 2-, Br- and Cl-, in molar ratio from 1:2 to 2:1. Glass ceramics has coefficient of thermal expansion of 0±0.10·10-6k in temperature range from 0 to 50 °C and contains one or more crystalline phases, selected from group consisting of high-temperature quartz mixed crystals of high-temperature quartz keatite, mixed keatite crystals, beta eucryptite.
EFFECT: technical result consists in production of glass ceramics with thermal expansion close to zero.
