FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, radiology, orthopaedics, traumatology, oncology, neurosurgery, is intended for research of spine when performing magnetic resonance tomography. In MRT, T1, T2 suspended images (VI) are obtained, method additionally uses pulse sequence in fat-suppression mode. When a hyperintensive signal is obtained in all modes, cavernous hemangioma is diagnosed. When hyperintensive signal is obtained in T1 and T2-VI, in fat suppression mode hypointensive signal, capillary haemangioma is diagnosed. When hyperntensive signal is obtained in T1 and T2-VI, and in fat suppression mode non-uniform iso, hypo- and hyperintensive signal, mixed haemangioma is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides accurate differentiation of different types of hemangiomas with adequate evaluation of anatomic-topographic state of spinal column in general and separate vertebrae, in particular, predicting dynamics of growth of formation.
