FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical measurements and a method of testing of labelling an evacuation route. Marking is illuminated by the radiation source designed for charging the marking to achieve its afterglow state. Method of testing includes the stages where an excitation curve A(λ) depending on wavelength for labelling an evacuation route, the surface density E(λ) of emitting radiation source for the given position marking evacuation route, determined weighted surface density B(λ) as the product surface density of radiation and excitation curve, surface density (BiL) charging radiation as integral from weighted surface density at wave length. Then, using characteristic curve Ktl(BiL) corresponding to time tl charging, which is determined duration of afterglow marking corresponds to the specified value tl charging for surface density (BiL) charging radiation.

EFFECT: technical result is simplification of measurement method.
