FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of copper nanopowder. Method of producing copper nanopowder involves dissolving copper anode with subsequent recovery of copper from electrolyte on titanium corrugated vibrating cathode, at end of electrolysis obtained copper nanopowder is filtered at excess pressure of inert gas, washed with distilled water in an amount of 1 l of water per 100 g of nanopowder and dried at 90-110 °C in argon atmosphere for 30-45 minutes. Composition is used as electrolyte, containing 50-55 g/l of ammonium chloride and 10-15 g/l of polyvinyl pyrrolidone. Electrolysis is carried out at cathode current density of 0.3 A/cm3 and anode current density of 0.05 A/cm2.
EFFECT: reduced agglomeration of powder and high resistance to oxidation with air oxygen.
