FIELD: office equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to office equipment and can be used in production of devices for making 3D models by successively applying layers of hardening materials. Printer for creation of 3D model by successively depositing layers of hardening material includes plate for model being made and thermal head. Head body is connected with stationary base by means of its movement relative to plate for model being made in form of control rods connected to parallelogram ball joints with head body and slides with sliding or roller bearings. According to first version, in printer mechanism for moving thermal head is mounted on stationary base in form of closed frame or flat platform located above plate of model being made. According to second version, stationary base for mechanism for moving thermal head is made in form of a flat support platform for model being made, and guide slides are made integral with sides of support platform.
EFFECT: technical result achieved when using a printer according to invention consists in simplifying design of mechanism for controlling actuator and possibility of making larger size models.
