SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of controlling fare collection on public transport. Method includes tracking the movement of a passenger inside the cabin and recording the payment of the fare made by the passenger before the vehicle reaches the next stop. Upper part of the vehicle cabin has PAC video surveillance means; those are connected to a data processing module through a video analysis module, payment recording module; data processing module processes the information on the individual features of a passenger, the fact of fare payment. If a passenger fails to pay the fare, a signal indicating that the passenger should pay the fare is sounded; then the fact of fare payment before leaving the cabin is controlled.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability and quality control of fare payment.
