FIELD: communication.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is method of selecting target base network communication network for voice communication session handover from source terminal radio access network with packet switching communication network to target radio access network communication network. Voice communication session is fixed in Internet Protocol multimedia subsystem communication network, and selected target base network comprises circuit-switched domain, which is connected with target radio access network and maintain continuity of voice communication session, allowing to perform handover of voice communication session from initial radio access network with packet switching to target radio access network. Target radio access network is connected with network identification of target basic network. Method includes selecting target base station based on said support voice communication session continuity, indicated using received network identification.

EFFECT: so, can be successful handover from a source terminal radio access network with packet switching to target radio access network using voice communication session continuity, improving reliability of voice communication session.
