FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to encoding/decoding of digital information and can be used in information transmission systems. Method includes presentation at transmitting side of each data unit containing sequence of K information of P-bit symbols in form of P matrices each containing M rows and N columns, wherein each matrix is composed of p-x bits of information symbols, addition of each matrix of M+N excess (reference) binary symbols, and at receiving side, determining number of rows and columns of each matrix, in which errors detected, define binary symbol, which is common for each row and column, code of binary symbol on additional, defined symbols, in which error occurred, wherein each of such symbols is determined by matrix, in which error is detected only in one column and one row, and each set of operations of change of each binary symbol is carried out over set of binary symbols belonging to symbols in which error occurred.
EFFECT: high reliability of transmitting during data exchange.
