SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of banknotes. Device comprises an opening for depositing money into which is inserted a banknote, a transportation unit that transports a banknote from opening for depositing money, an opening-closing element said opening for depositing money, allowing opening and closing of opening for depositing money by moving, and a controller which controls transportation of banknotes of transportation units and controls opening and closing operation of opening-closing element for depositing money, and controller suspends counting processing and opens opening-closing element for opening for depositing money in cases in which event of stopping counting processing occurs during processing of counting banknotes inserted in opening for depositing money.
EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of application of money during processing of counting banknotes.
