FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of gas and fluid impermeable for installation of one or more adjacent to each other spending oxygen electrodes in electrochemical semi-cell. Method is characterised by that occur when spending oxygen electrodes on frame of gas cell compartment bend sections and/or sections cracks on spending oxygen electrodes, and/or sections of joints, and/or sections overlapping adjacent spending oxygen electrodes and coated with additional film, which has same with spending oxygen electrodes composition and thinner than layer consumes oxygen electrode, and that film contains same having catalytic activity material as consumes oxygen electrode. At same time consuming oxygen electrodes are based on fluorinated polymer, and additional bearing element in spending oxygen electrodes and/or in film is electric conductive flexible fabric structure. Invention also relates to electrochemical cell and its application for electrolysis of NaCl.

EFFECT: use of this invention allows reducing mechanical loads, which may occur during installation spending oxygen electrodes in electrochemical semi-cell.
