FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cathode half-shell of the electrolytic cell containing metal components of the cell element comprising: metal support structure welded to back side of the cathode half-shell, and at least one metal elastic element, located plane-parallel above it, oxygen depolarised cathode, located against at least one metal elastic element, at that the said oxygen depolarised cathode contains a perforated metal mesh and tape of catalyst made out of PTFE and silver oxide, mechanically pressed in it, at that the silver oxide is recovered to silver during operation of the electrolytic unit, and such uniform connection/link is made between the elements of the oxygen depolarised cathode, and at least one elastic element, at that the said connection/link has high conductivity, where at least one of the metal components has electric conducting coating containing at least two layers, where the first layer applied directly on materials of the cell element is selected from the group containing Au, B-alloyed nickel, Ni sulphides and their mixtures, at that the first layer has thickness from 0.005 to 0.2 mcm; and second layer applied on the first layer is made out of silver, at that the second layer has thickness from 0.1 to 30 mcm. Such invention relates to electrolytic cell use for chloralkali electrolysis.
EFFECT: suggested coating has increased adhesion strength on surfaces of the components of the cell elements such, that to form non-conducting oxide layers.
