FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. To obtain copper sulphate from sulphuric acid solution initial solution is mixed with preheated mother solution. Mixture is evaporated under vacuum. Method includes crystallisation with continuous circulation of suspension through a boiling zone. Suspension of crystals is removed. Separation of mother solution is carried out by preliminary thickening and removal of mother solution with small crystals. Removal of mother solution with small crystals is performed in upward flow. Boundary size of crystals of suspension, directed for dehydration, is controlled by hydrodynamic conditions, characterised by linear speed of upward flow in range of 10-50 m/h.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a crystalline product in a narrow range of dimensions, which prevents caking and dusting, reduces power consumption.
