FIELD: chemistry; agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of industrial production of finely dispersed copper sulfate for use as an ingredient in mineral and vitamin mixtures, premixes for farm animals. The method includes mixing the initial solution with preheated mother liquor, evaporation of the mixture under vacuum, crystallization, separate removal of part of the mother liquor, heating and returning to the mixing stage and removing part of the suspension of crystals, followed by separation of the mother liquor. Evaporation of the mixture and crystallization are carried out to a concentration degree of 1.1-2.5 with the maintenance of the concentration of sulfuric acid in the solution at crystallization of 25-55 g/dm3. Part of the suspension from the filtration system is continuously removed after separate removal of part of the mother liquor at a linear speed of 1.0-1.8 m/s. The flow rate of the solution during circulation is 20-45 m/s. The mother liquor and the condensate formed during evaporation are mixed with concentrated sulfuric acid and fresh water to produce a solution that is enriched with copper and sent back to vacuum evaporation and crystallization.

EFFECT: stable production of high-grade copper sulfate crystals of grade A according to GOST19347-2014 is ensured.
