FIELD: chemical technology, inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method of producing copper sulfate from sulfate solutions of electrolytic copper refining involves the combined evaporation-crystallization of solution heated to 80-90 C at ratio copper and sulfuric acid = (35-95):1 at temperature of circulating mother liquor 2-4 C above copper sulfate crystallization point. Vacuum crystallization is carried out under pressure 1.5-1.9 kPa. Method ensures to obtain small dispersed product at content of the basic component 98.5%, not less, and crystal fraction content of size less 0.5 mm up to 85-95%. Method ensures a possibility to remove large crystal fractions 2.5; 1.6 and 1.0 mm. Method can be used in metallurgy and chemical industry for production of food microadditions for agriculture. EFFECT: improved method of isolation. 2 cl, 1 tbl
