SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plastic closure comprising a closure cap having a top wall portion, and an annular skirt portion flowing from top wall portion. Skirt portion includes an internal thread formation for threaded engagement with external thread formation of an associated container. Inner thread formation of closure is configured to vary retention force which decreases in a direction away from top wall portion of closure cap.
EFFECT: facilitating high-speed fastening and minimising costs of polymer material.
