FIELD: communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to wireless communications. Described are methods, apparatus and system for wireless transmission/reception unit (WTRU) to control its transmission power. Transmission power headroom report (PHR) can be started based on changes in recoil or effects of backoff. Additional backoff can be used to calculate maximum output power of WTRU and can be specified by pointer domination of network resources. WTRU may be configured to exclude starts caused by virtual PHR. Furthermore, WTRU may be configured to respond to rapid changes in backoff.
EFFECT: technical result is limiting noise between and among wireless communication devices.
