FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of synthetic granular zeolite of A type, which can be used in chemical and petrochemical industry as adsorbent for drying and cleaning of natural gas, for separation of mixtures of hydrocarbons on molecular level, as ion-exchange material for cleaning water flows from heavy metal cations and radionuclides, as well as catalyst in processes of processing of gases. Method involves mixing initial components: calcined kaolin and solid sodium hydroxide in mass ratio of 1:(0.25-0.35), aluminium oxide in weight ratio of calcined kaolin:aluminium oxide of 1:(0.046-0.23), and water in ratio T:G ratio equal to 1:(1.5-2.5), as well as temporary process binder, represented by modified starch in amount of 3-7 wt%, processing obtained suspension in ultrasonic device with frequency of 22±1 kHz and amplitude of 20±1.5 mcm for 5-15 minutes and filtering till residual humidity of 20-22 wt%, moulding granules forming from produced mass, drying and thermal activation at temperature of 500-700 °C for 2-6 hours, hydrothermal crystallisation in single step in solution of sodium hydroxide at temperature of 70-90 °C and at ratio of solid and liquid phases equal to 1:(2.2-2.8), washing and drying.
EFFECT: increased content of crystalline phase of type A zeolite, high moisture adsorption capacity and dynamic capacity by vapors.
