FIELD: synthetic zeolite production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing synthetic zeolite. The method includes autoclave treatment of the initial solution containing aluminate solution of alumina production, filtration and drying of the resulting product. As an aluminate solution for alumina production, an aluminate solution obtained from bauxites according to the Bayer scheme is used. The initial solution additionally contains liquid sodium glass and lime annealed at a temperature of 1200-1400°C, in the following ratio of components (wt.%): aluminate solution obtained from bauxite according to the Bayer scheme, 76.92-86.2; liquid sodium glass 6.9-12.82; lime annealed at 1200-1400°C, 6.9-10.26. Autoclaving is carried out at a temperature of 160-170°C, at a pressure of 5.0-6.1 atm with a stirring speed of 100-110 rpm for 3-6 hours.

EFFECT: providing a method for processing aluminate solutions of alumina production with the production of synthetic aluminosilicate calcium and sodium zeolites (zeolites); the proposed method makes it possible to obtain a high quality product, since its crystallinity is 100%. In addition, the proposed method allows to reduce the duration of the process and significantly reduce the calcination temperature; the by-product obtained in the proposed method, that is, the filtrate, contains sodium and aluminum, and it can be reused in the leaching of bauxite or for the preparation of reaction solutions. This makes the method environmentally friendly; wash waters, which are slightly alkaline, can be reused to prepare reagent solutions.
