SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to automotive industry. Disc brake mechanism comprises brake calliper, fixed on fixed braking shield and having central opening above brake disc, two brake axles located in brake calliper in opposite direction, having each bearing plate and brake shoe fixed on it, and also return device, by means of which brake support is retracted after brake motion and release of brake. Return device comprises acting on opposite brake pads, equally acting against appropriate direction of setting expansion device with acting on appropriate bearing plate of spring-loaded expansion elements. Expanding device is located in central opening. Expanding elements directly or indirectly act outside the friction straps on one side in the middle zone or on two spaced from each other from the middle of the adjoining area of brake shoes. Adjacent zones have each abutment surface and support surface, on which expanding elements are movably arranged.

EFFECT: longer service life of brake shoes and brake disc.
