FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used for protection of submersible oil pumps against hydro-abrasive wear. Submersible mechanical impurities separator comprises housing with inlet holes and outlet channels, screw and protective sleeve installed in housing to make annular clearance. Sleeve is perforated in area of screw for waste flow from it with separated mechanical impurities, and annular gap in upper part is made with narrowing and connected with outlet channels.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of operation of submersible pump unit due to prevention of blockage of well by fine mechanical impurities.
