SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radial magnetic bearing for rotary support of rotor. Radial magnetic bearing for rotary support of rotor (3) includes stator (2) with several coil devices (6). Coil devices (6) are located in direction of periphery around axis (1) of bearing. Each coil device (6) comprise pack (7) of iron from separate sheets. Besides, each coil device (6) comprises axial excitation coil (11) wound on corresponding pack (7) of iron. Separate sheets in each pack (7) iron laminated in tangential direction, each coil (11) is made in form of axial excitation coils.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of easy to install and highly dynamic radial magnetic bearing.
