FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument engineering. Digital electronic tachograph comprises an on-board device, an internal power supply connected to the central processing unit, a navigation cryptographic device, a memory unit, a real-time clock, a thermal printer, a display unit, card readers, GLONASS/GPS GNSS modules with antennas, a unit with gyroscopes and accelerometers, communication and input/output devices. Central processing unit is connected to navigation cryptographic device with built-in real-time clock, a memory unit, a thermal printer, an indication unit, a keyboard, card readers, GLONASS/GPS GNSS modules with antennas, a unit with gyroscopes and accelerometers, communication and input/output devices. Thermal device comprises built-in thermal head temperature sensor with feedback to central processor. Backup battery is connected to central processor and real-time clock. Navigation cryptographic device also includes backup battery.
EFFECT: higher reliability of tachograph.
