METHOD FOR ELIMINATION OF DIASTASIS OF RECTUS ABDOMINIS MUSCLES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2692995 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for elimination of diastasis of rectus abdominis muscles. Skin-subcutaneous flap of width not more than 5 cm is incised and the stretched aponeurosis of the white abdominal line is dissected strictly along the middle of diastasis. Anteperitoneal tissue and peritoneum are separated from a back wall of sheath of rectus abdominis muscles at 4 cm from medial edges of rectus abdominis muscles. Autodermal de-epithelised graft is fixed to a back wall of sheaths of rectus abdominis muscles on one side, with subsequent removal of sheets of immobilized aponeurosis of white abdominal line and fixed by nodal sutures on anterior wall of sheaths of rectus abdominis muscles, with further suture by continuous suture of autodermal de-epithelised graft to back wall of sheaths of rectus abdominis muscles on opposite side and application of nodal sutures on aponeurotic structures of medial edges of rectus abdominis muscles, forming a new white belly line.

EFFECT: method enables reducing injuries, improving the quality of life of the patients in the early postoperative period, reducing the risk of recurrence.
