FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, particularly to methods for removal of bullets of small arms cartridges. Bullet consists of shell, lead jacket and steel core. Method of dismantling cartridges consists in separation into components of bullet, where bullet is installed in matrix and is loaded with axial force on side edge, to opposite side of bullet counter pressure is applied with help of thrust to side of which is moved steel bullet core to form a hole in its bottom part, core is pushed through this hole with subsequent removal from matrix and removal of other parts of bullet. In a matrix consisting of sleeve, annular puller-guide and stop with central bore, sleeve is installed to form an annular gap between its end face and engraving of stop, made on its end, then bullet in sleeve, moved in sleeve and placed with its bottom part on cutting edge of stop, formed by intersection of holes with its engraving, axial force is generated by hydrostatic pressure in volume of lead jacket.
EFFECT: simplified dismantling of bullet.
