FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recycling of firearm rounds, and in particular, to dismantling of bullets into components, including shell, lead jacket and core, with subsequent re-use of separate component parts of bullet and processing other parts into materials for industrial purpose. Dismantling method includes movement of bullet in a matrix, fixation of its shell relative to matrix, displacement by male die of inner part relative to matrix, pushing and removing it through matrix hole with subsequent removal of shell from matrix. Bullet is installed by bottom part on movable supports of matrix arranged inside stator of linear motor, fixing bullet shell relative to matrix, at least two symmetrically arranged relative to axis of bullet dielectric grippers, voltage is supplied to stator linear motor, using resultant electromagnetic field as male die interacting with internal parts of bullet, which is given a function of a secondary element of linear motor. Lead jacket is heated and lead jacket and steel core are pushed towards bottom of bullet. Bullet shell is released from grip and extracted by means of electromagnetic field of linear motor stator. Before dismantling of bullet a hole is made in its shell; during dismantling of bullet linear motor is reversed, initially providing for movement of steel core towards nose of bullet, and then towards its bottom part. Before dismantling of bullet, said bullet is transferred through operating zone of linear motor, melting lead jacket.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and reduced labour intensity.
