FIELD: weapons and ammunition; processing and recycling of wastes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recovery of firearm rounds. Method of bullet dismantling includes its installation in matrix loaded with axial force on punch with application of counter pressure to opposite side of bullet by means of stop, enabling movement of bullet core towards bottom part and forming hole in it, pushing core through above hole with its subsequent removal from matrix. Bullet is installed in matrix to provide fixation in axial direction on matrix cone-shaped annular projection. Male die is used consisting of outer cylindrical casing and piercing male die. Prior to bullet loading with axial force hole is made in bullet nose using piercing male die. Loading of axial force from nose side is performed by piercing male die with cylindrical cartridge by application of axial force to bullet shell and its lead jacket with provision eversion of bullet shell inside, then, stop and continue to apply axial force to bullet shell and its lead jacket with provision of shell eversion and core removal by pushing it from shell.
EFFECT: combined removal of core, lead jacket and shell in one working cycle.
