FIELD: manufacture of small arms ammunition, in particular, dismounting of bullets with an empty envelope nose and slug with a long ogive. SUBSTANCE: incomplete cut of the envelope nose and its simultaneous crushing to the dimensions equal to the diameter of the smaller hole are accomplished in a stepped die. Then the envelope is shifted from the slug ogive. The envelope is removed from the slug. The slug is wiped off. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 3 dwg
