FIELD: production of a sorbent for extraction of lithium from saline solutions.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with a method of a hydrooxidation of olefins with production of olefins having three or several atoms of carbon, such as propylene oxide. It is also dealt with a catalyst for oxidation of olefins and with a method of its production. The method of olefins hydrooxidation includes the contact of olefins with oxygen in reaction conditions at the presence of hydrogen and a catalyst containing oxygenated gold on a titanium-bearing carrying agent, preferably, the carrying agent having assemblage of types of a coordinated surrounding of titanium, for example, titanium graft on titanosilicate. At that more than 30 mass percents of all gold in terms of total amount of gold available in the catalyst are oxygenated gold. Olefins oxides are used at alkoxilation of alcohols with production of polyester polyols and also alkyleneglycols and alkanolamides as intermediate products of the production. The technical result is an increase of selectivity in relation to olefin oxide at a good conversion of olefin, as well as an increase of the catalyst service life.

EFFECT: the invention allows to increase selectivity in relation to olefin oxide at a good conversion of olefin and of the catalyst service life.
