SUBSTANCE: invention relates to winding coils. Spindle for winding coreless rolls of a stretchable plastic film comprises a tubular body. Body has a peripheral wall. Wall forms at least one inner chamber. Chamber can be connected with compressed air source. Multiple perforations extend outward from inner chamber of spindle through peripheral wall. Body is coated with protective layer of hard chrome. Outer surface of protective layer is sandblasted to average roughness of 6-6.5 mcm.
EFFECT: decreased friction and uniform damping of air along entire spindle during removal of roll.
