GEAR WHEEL Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC F16H1/00 F16H55/14

Abstract RU 2588195 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in tooth gears with cylindrical wheels. Gear wheel comprises hub body in form of disc rim wheel and toothed rim. On side of both ends of gear wheel, in area of its engagement with paired wheel there are arched support elements fixed relative to rotating tooth wheel and adjacent equidistant to its surface by antifriction gaskets, fixed on support elements, on face side of gear wheel, from where is directed axial force which creates at operation of gear transmission. Support element abuts on wheel rim inner surface, on face side of gear wheel, to which is directed said axial force. Support element abuts on inner surface of a rim wheel and to end of rim wheel and has an L-shaped cross-section. Surfaces of support elements adjacent to surfaces of gear wheel are located symmetrically relative to line of centres of paired gear wheels. Surfaces of support elements in their size across line of centres of paired gear wheels are greater than width of zone of engagement of said paired gear wheels.

EFFECT: higher strength of gear wheel due to reduced effect of axial force on gear wheel.
