SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to gear transmissions with wheels of large diameter and with wide rims. Gear wheel comprises hub body in form of disk and rim wheel with rim, width of which is greater than thickness of disc of body. In area of engagement of wheel with paired wheel gearing, on side of inner surface of wheel rim and on both ends of disc of body, there is a pair of support elements. Elements are fixed relative to rotating tooth wheel. Surfaces of said elements facing inner surface of wheel rim, equidistant to said surface and adjacent thereto through antifriction gaskets.
