FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biomass gasifier on basis of microwave plasma and method of gasification of biomass and solid wastes into high quality synthesis gas. Gasifier comprises vertical housing, unit for monitoring and device for generation of microwave plasma. On gasifier housing provided with inlet for material and fuel, outlet for obtained gas, oxygen/steam inlet and outlet for slag in its lower part. Gasifier housing comprises free zone in its upper part and fixed bed area in its lower part. Monitoring unit is located near outlet for synthetic gas. Microwave plasma generator is located on gasifier housing. During implementation of method of gasification, biomass is fed into gasifier through feeding device, it is gasified in zone with fixed layer, making high-temperature furnace gas, allow fuel gas flow upward to heat exchange with newly fed biomass in gasifier zone and react with steam, sprayed from lower oxygen/steam nozzle and with plasma oxidant, generated by first microwave plasma generator to produce synthetic gas, allow synthesis gas flow upwards in free zone, where resin in synthesis gas is cracked and hydrocarbons in synthesis gas is converted in presence of plasma generated by second microwave plasma generator, allow coke residues to fall down in fixed layer zone and extraction of thermal energy for maintaining temperature zone of fixed layer, and slags are also released from slags outlet and temperature and components of synthesis gas are monitored in order to maintain parameters of process at specified range.
EFFECT: invention provides gasification with high efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
